Mercy Heritage

Inspired by Catherine McAuley the Sisters of Mercy established our mission to educate students at our College.

Mercy Ethos and Values

We are people of Compassion: responding to vulnerability with care and concern

We are people of Justice: seeking fair and equitable outcomes for all

We are people of Respect: treating all whom we meet with joy and kindness

We are people of Hospitality: offering glad tidings and a warm cup of tea

We are people of Service: dedicated to proclaiming God’s love through word and deed

We are people of Courage: willing to speak up and speak out in response to injustice

Mercy Network

“I would like to tell you all the little cheering things that God permits to fall in our way.”
(Catherine McAuley, Letter to de Pazzi Delaney, 3 October 1837)

It is a pleasure and a joy to belong to the wider Mercy family. Our school life is enriched through our connections with our Mercy network partners, including Seeds of Justices; Young Mercy Links and Circle of Mercy. In the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy, we are joining with the Mercy family across the globe to take part in the Mercy International Reflection Process.
