Year 12 Graduation Dinner
Last Friday night saw the 2025 Year 12 Graduation Dinner take place at the Lakeside Reception Centre in Taylor’s Lakes. The evening offers an opportunity for our Year 12 students to get together and celebrate for the final time as a cohort, as well as providing a formal conclusion to their time as a member of Sacred Heart College. It is also a wonderful opportunity for parents to celebrate their own role in their child’s time at the College, especially throughout the past year as the parent of a Year 12 student.
The red carpet was well and truly rolled out as our graduates arrived early in the evening, all looking resplendent in their formal wear. Students were all presented to the audience and the formal party individually, allowing each to have their achievements throughout the year celebrated by all in attendance. The photographers – both professional and amateur – worked overtime to capture the many snapshots of students by themselves or with friends and family members, providing future treasured memories for all.
College Principal, Dr Darren Egberts, spoke about of the immense contribution this cohort has made towards Sacred Heart College over their 6-year journey, before our wonderful College Captains of 2024 – Imogen Sparrow, Isabelle McBride and Stehanie Waddington – concluded the formal component of the evening with Acknowledgement of Country, Grace before dinner, and the acknowledgement of the significant role played by various staff members throughout the past six years of this cohort’s secondary education at the College.
A three-course dinner was enjoyed by attendees, before the introduction of a DJ who filled the dance floor for the next couple of hours.
Congratulations to our 2025 Year 12 graduates. We wish you all the best for wherever life takes you beyond your Sacred Heart journey and we thank you all for your respective contributions to Sacred Heart College life during your tenure.
